Internationally we export some 240 different products to over 100 countries worldwide.The Group's Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.Applications are invited for the above position at our Killygarry site.The Role:Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful applicant will act as a key financial partner to our Texturised Butter business. This role involves managing all finance-related matters across the production site with a focus on driving profitability and implementing process improvements.Key responsibilities will include (not limited too):Preparation of monthly management accounts, including all aspects of gross margin and overhead analysis for the newly acquired Texturised butter (TX) business.Ensure gross margin reporting on TX P&L is based on actual purchase cost, which is reflected in our stock value.Support the commercial team with reporting on outstanding orders versus inventory balances, volumes and values.Ensure suppliers (cream & finished butter products, haulers) are paid within payment terms.Work closely with accounts receivable to ensure debtors are paid within strict payment terms.Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts monthly.Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and preparation of financial budgets and 5-year plans.Understand all aspects of cashflow (profit, stocks, debtors & creditors) within the Division to assist with the preparation of accurate cashflow forecasting.The PersonOur team is seeking an individual that possesses:A fully qualified accountant, with previous experience of working as a management accountant.Good commercial acumen, comfortable being a business partner for the commercial team.Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and a high level of initiative.Excellent computer skills, particularly in the use of Excel, and also ERP systems for financial analysis and reporting (SAP & Qliksense).Comfortable in working with minimal supervision.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.***Experience of dairy/food manufacturing would be advantageous***.If you have the necessary skills and attributes to meet this exciting opportunity in a dynamic, high volume and fast-moving business, we would be delighted to hear from you.Application Process:To apply for this role, please submit a copy of your CV by no later than Monday 12th January 2026.Lakeland Dairies Ltd is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
