Our Client
Our client is an international insurance organisation currently establishing a new Bermudian insurance entity as part of its global growth strategy. This role is a critical hire within the finance function and will support the build-out of robust accounting, reporting, and control processes to ensure the new entity is established on a strong governance foundation. The business operates in a regulated insurance environment with a clear focus on quality, accuracy, and financial discipline.

Who should apply?
This position will suit a qualified accountant with strong insurance experience and a hands-on approach:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Proven experience within the insurance industry
* Non-life insurance experience preferred
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and regulated environments
* Experience in insurance audit or industry accounting welcomed
* Process-driven mindset with a focus on governance and accuracy
* Comfortable working in evolving or greenfield environments
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Manager – Insurance will take responsibility for core finance activities:
* Ownership of the month-end close and financial reporting processes
* Preparation and review of reconciliations and balance sheet controls
* Support FP&A activities including forecasting and variance analysis
* Act as a key finance contact for audits and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to the development and documentation of finance processes
* Occasional travel as part of the role
