Procurement Specialist
Job Summary
This role involves supporting contract and procurement activities from start to finish, ensuring optimal global purchase decisions that meet objectives. Key responsibilities include coordinating activities and resources, working with partners to execute contracts, and maintaining compliance with IT, Regulatory, and Global Compliance requirements.
About the Role
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project from planning to completion, including budget establishment and exception management. This role also involves facilitating work between sourcing, legal, and other project partners, as well as ensuring compliance with Global Clearance and Import/Export regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Sourcing and contracting: Identify and engage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Contract administration: Ensure accurate tracking and management of contracts, including renewal and termination.
* Compliance: Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual matters and facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of effective project management. Additionally, experience with project management tools, global procurement, and contract management would be advantageous.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A degree in engineering or a technology-related field would be desirable.
Work Arrangements
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a mix of remote and office-based work. The position includes 37.5 hours of scheduled work per week.
