Overview
RecruitmentPlus is currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations reporting directly to Finance Director and will work closely with other members of the organisation. Control and understanding of all of the costs, risks and benefits associated with selling through Distributors is fundamental to this role.

Responsibilities
* Preparation of the monthly accruals in close co-operation with the Trading Controllers
* Consolidating Distributor sales reports into a Global report
* Analysing Distributor data and information to verify costs are valid
* Developing a thorough understanding of the Distributor contracts and what the terms mean in practice
* Maintenance of the Master Data Costings file and creator of new Cost of Goods as required by the business
* Responsible for maintenance and control of Distributor price changes suggested by Trading Controllers
* Developing a Product P&L template for each Market to build new product pricing and implementing a consistent process for evaluating new opportunities
Rebates and Deductions
* All rebates/trade promotion/distributor bonus/WAP/miscellaneous deductions to be under the full control of the Commercial Accountant
* All trade terms to be monitored and reconciled to rebate control workbook and any discrepancies investigated and reconciled without delay in conjunction with Trading Controller/Trading Managers
* Maintain master file of all trade terms when trade negotiations are completed with all the necessary backup of contracts as required
* All deduction invoices to be under Commercial Accountant control for signing off by Trading Controllers/Managers
* Manage and fully understand monthly rebate accrual calculation
* Manage and fully understand monthly trade promotion accrual calculation
* Manage and fully understand WAP accrual calculation
* Manage and fully understand distributor bonus accrual calculation
* Manage and fully understand any other miscellaneous deduction accrual calculation
Other
* Monthly NIV reports to be updated and distributed in timely fashion
* Other ad hoc reports that may arise to be maintained and distributed as required
Commercials
* Work closely with Trading Manager when preparing commercials for entry into a new market. Commercials must only come from Commercial Accountant for final presentation to MD/Sales Director with full backup/understanding of methodology and pricing used.
* Evaluation of existing products for changing circumstances, (COGs RRPs, market conditions, etc.)
* Profitability modelsCreate and maintain (quarterly) a Retailer Profitability file for each core Market.
* Update and maintain transfer pricing documents and ensure each Distributor contract has an up to date and accurate price list (Appendix A/ Schedule 1).
* Maintenance of the Master Data Costings file and creator of new Cost of Goods as required by the business
