Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with product teams to promote the concept of reliability engineering throughout all phases of the software lifecycle. Your primary goal will be to detect and correct performance issues while meeting availability goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to define service level objectives (SLOs) for system operations and track performance against SLOs to ensure systems meet SLOs over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Create software to improve system performance, scalability, and stability
* Automate manual operational work (toil)
* Participate in operational support and drive blameless post-mortems to troubleshoot and resolve priority incidents
* Evaluate and recommend methods for improving automation, security, and system observability
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Experience in reliability engineering and monitoring practices
* Technical expertise with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
* Knowledge of large-scale databases, data movement, and analytics tools
* Familiarity with ITIL v4 processes, framework, and tools
