Equifind are excited to have joined up with a leading fintech firm, in Dublin, who are looking for a Project Accountant to join the business, to assist them with a transformation project and help revamp the finance function.
We're looking for someone who knows Netsuite inside out, has hands-on experience and is well-versed in system transformations and projects.
You will play a key role in driving the change of the finance function, working closely with the wider finance team and external consultants, to ensure the successful delivery of this transformation project.
Key duties and responsibilities for this project accountant include:
* Lead and manage the upgrade of the Netsuite system with a focus to optimise the workflow streams and automate accounting tasks
* Scope and analyse current finance systems capabilities, in order to make processes more efficient and automate where possible
* Automate accounting workflows the finance team's input for tasks such as reconciliations, invoice matching and journal entry
* Provide guidance, support, and expertise to external teams to optimise system configuration and functionality
* Provide recommendations and solutions to enhance system performance and build a robust, efficient financial framework for the future
* Develop and implement a comprehensive finance framework to support the organisations financial operations across multiple countries and entities
* Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls
* Build reports and dashboards for future use that will enhance the reporting function
* Ensure alignment with business requirements, best practices, and project timelines
* Work closely with external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ad hoc projects as and when requested by the senior management
Experience & Qualification
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 8 years PQE
* A history of being involved and running transformation projects
* Strong Netsuite experience is a MUST
* Experience of working in a fintech would be nice to have
* Can work independently in a timely fashion
* Be a real team player
* A background of working with large finance teams

Daily Rate
This project accountant opportunity in Dublin, will pay market rate depending on your experience and industry background.
This will be for a minimum of 6 months' work and to start straightaway, as we will be running interviews over the next few weeks.
