Temporary Accounts Assistant Location - Dublin 9 Duration - 3 months Fully Office based About the Role Were looking for a proactive, detail-focused Temporary Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team during a particularly busy period. Youll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of their financial records and supporting the month-end process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AccountsIQ and a strong understanding of monthly management accounts. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card transactions Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely posting of transactions Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures Produce reports and analysis for internal stakeholders Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers Provide general ad-hoc finance support as required Requirements Proven experience using AccountsIQ accounting software Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and month-end processes Experience assisting with management accounts preparation Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (desirable but not essential) What We Offer Competitive temporary pay rate Exposure to a fast-paced, dynamic finance environment Opportunity to work within a supportive and professional team Skills: Assistant accountant part qualified accountant accounts assistant
