Job Overview:
The role of Electrical Instrumentation Technician is a vital position within our maintenance team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of generating plant and equipment.
Key responsibilities include performing hands-on planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Electrical fault finding, testing, and repair in a power generation work environment.
* Installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of plant equipment.
* Maintenance of accurate records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Preparation and review of task-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have recent experience (2-5 years) in Thermal, Hydro, or renewable generation plant maintenance or equivalent industrial electrical systems experience.
* Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of HV/MV/LV electrical systems and/or Control and Instrumentation (C&I) systems.
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
* Technical knowledge of power station electrical maintenance procedures or equivalent.
* Full driving license and good IT skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Apart from the essential qualifications, applicants should have some knowledge of computer systems and full B driving license.
