As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic insights on health and safety matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

* Provide expert guidance and strategic insights on health and safety matters.

* Facilitate effective consultation through engagement with Safety Committees and Safety Representatives.
">
* Promote a positive H&S culture of excellence and inclusion within the organisation.
">
* Deliver comprehensive HSE training programs.
">
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of work areas, operations and systems.
">
* Develop and execute Emergency Plans.
">
">
Requirements and Skills
">
A third level qualification in Health & Safety or similar is required or recognised safety qualification.
">
At least 2-3 years on-site Safety Officer experience is required.
">
Experience in risk assessment and strong understanding of Irish and EU health and safety legal requirements.
">
A competent auditor and trainer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">
A self-starter with a proven ability to work on own initiative, with problem solving skills.
">
Skills: health and safety engineering manufacturing.
