My Dublin based client is recruiting for an SAP MM Consultant to join a growing team on a permanent basis. This role will be hybrid working.
The role focuses on Inventory Management, Logistics, Master Data, and Data Migrations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) processes and have a strong track record of delivering successful SAP implementation projects.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide expertise in SAP MM modules, focusing on Inventory Management, Logistics, and Procurement processes.
* Analyze and document business requirements, designing and implementing SAP MM solutions to support project goals.
* Configure SAP MM modules, including inventory levels, stock management, and procurement workflows.
* Lead and support data migration activities, including cleansing, transformation, and validation for SAP MM-related data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SD, PP, and FICO.
* Develop and maintain Master Data configurations, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
* Support end-users by delivering training sessions and creating user documentation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP MM modules, providing post-implementation support and optimization.
* Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes using SAP MM tools.
* Monitor and optimize inventory control processes to enhance operational efficiency.
* Create functional specifications for custom developments in collaboration with technical teams.
Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
* Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM modules.
* Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
* Strong understanding of Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Master Data processes.
* Experience with data migration strategies, tools, and execution in SAP projects.
* Familiarity with integration points between SAP MM and other modules like FICO, SD, and PP.
* Ability to create functional specifications and work with technical teams for custom developments.
* SAP MM certification is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of SAP best practices and implementation methodologies.
Essential and Desirable Skills
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
* Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM modules.
Educational Requirements
* SAP MM certification is highly desirable.
