Our client, a leading building contractor has a new vacancy for a Senior Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to work in the Dublin area.
This initial project in South Dublin, will have a full team on site including a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager (x2), Site Engineer (x2), H&S Officer.
This role might suit an experienced Site Engineer, Senior Engineer, Site Manager or Project Manager.
Role:
1. Working closely with the site team, assisting with the day-to-day management of the project.
2. Supervision and coordination of the Site Engineers
3. Planning work efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
4. Providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and queries are answered.
5. Liaising with the design team and client regards to RFI's.
6. Ensuring the latest information is available to all stakeholders.
7. Checking plans, drawings and quantities.
8. Maintaining high Health and safety
9. Quality management
10. BCAR co-ordination
11. Attending site meetings.
Requirements:
12. Engineering or Construction Management qualification.
13. 5+ years experience working with building contractors in Ireland or the UK.
14. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
