Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled manufacturing professional to support production and product development in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to design and develop new products and optimize existing ones.
* Create and maintain accurate work instructions and standard operating procedures for all manufacturing tasks.
* Manage engineering change notices and ensure timely implementation of changes.
* Act as a liaison between engineering and procurement teams to ensure seamless communication.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, and lead projects to implement these changes.
* Oversee preventive maintenance and calibration schedules, and coordinate with external contractors when required.
* Participate in internal audits and identify areas for improvement.
* Lead assigned projects across the manufacturing floor to drive continuous improvement.
About You
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
* Understanding of electrical circuit drawings and specifications.
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
* AutoCAD Inventor experience is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
