Your duties as a Maintenance Technician:
* Support the development of new and existing technologies, as well as production lines, to improve quality, profitability, and safety
* Plan, execute, and document project assignments in line with agreed timelines, goals, and governance policies/procedures
* Ensure all technical and customer requirements for assigned projects are achieved
* Prepare, update, and maintain validation and project management documentation
* Participate in regular project reviews with project teams and management
* Produce design work such as layouts, sketches, and concepts for projects and/or plant layouts
* Review and/or develop engineering change requests for modifications to processes, equipment, and facilities
* Troubleshoot and repair automation systems as required
* Assess and maintain machine safety systems to protect employees operating automation equipment
* Monitor production data to ensure automation lines achieve targeted output and OEE
* Maintain product quality by ensuring proper operation and upkeep of all automation systems
* Provide prompt updates to shift leaders and program managers regarding downtime or maintenance issues
* Liaise daily with the Engineering Manager and shift support staff
* Adhere to all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety standards
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management
* Demonstrate consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance
* Work with automation systems such as assembly machines/fixtures, label applicators, robots, end-of-arm tooling, separators, test equipment, and any other equipment as assigned
What skill/experience you need as a Maintenance Technician:
* Associate's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (required)
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferred)
* At least 3 years' experience in the medical device or other regulated industry (required)
* Minimum 3 years' experience supporting technical project management (preferred)
* Background in medical devices or pharmaceuticals is an advantage
* Knowledge of quality system requirements, FDA Quality System Regulations, cGMP, and relevant ISO standards
