Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Construction Opportunity
This is an ideal opening for a motivated Quantity Surveyor graduate or early-career professional looking to advance their expertise in commercial construction environments.
* Pre-Contract: Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation. Support material take-offs and measurement work. Assist with issuing enquiries and gathering subcontractor/supplier quotations.
* Post-Contract: Help prepare interim valuations, payment applications and variation costings. Support the management of subcontractor payments and administration. Assist with cost tracking, budgeting and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate records for contract administration and project reporting. Attend site meetings and contribute to progress measurement and verification.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar.
* 02 years experience (placement, internship or graduate role an advantage).
* Strong interest in commercial construction (office, retail, industrial, education etc.).
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of QS software beneficial.
