Arcadis are seeking a CSA Engineer for a pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract.
An opportunity has arisen for a CSA Engineer with Construction Management Team (CMT) experience to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This role is ideal for an experienced professional to be involved in the following - supervise site construction in execution, challenge design throughout the lifecycle, and be involved in procurement processes within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
Oversee and coordinate contractors to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Challenge and review design documents throughout the project lifecycle, driving improvements and efficiencies.
Act as a key member of the Construction Management Team (CMT), providing input on construction strategy and execution.
Participate in procurement processes for construction materials and services, ensuring value and compliance.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, reporting on milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure all construction activities meet regulatory and company standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience supervising site construction within pharmaceutical or other regulated environments.
Previous involvement as part of a Construction Management Team (CMT) on large projects.
Strong understanding of procurement for construction projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to challenge designs constructively and drive continuous improvement.
