Based in Portnahinch, Portarlington, Co. Laois we are a leading engineering company. We are looking for a HR generalist, part-time Monday to Friday 9.30-1.30.
About Your New Role
* This role is a People and Culture Advisor and would suit a candidate who has previous experience in HR or Administrator or Generalist.
* You will assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening and be involved with the interview and offer process.
* Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, including handling role offers, conducting inductions, managing resignation letters, and coordinating exit interviews.
* Serve as the primary contact for employee queries, maintaining personnel files and training records. Partner with line managers to address daily HR issues and develop employee engagement and reward programs with the global team.
* Keep HR systems updated (Timeworks, Time Management, Occupop for candidate flows) and provide real-time reports on HR metrics. Stay informed about employment laws and best practices to support the development of HR policies and procedures.
* Complete various administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, and handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
What Skills You Need
* 3 years working in HR within a fast-paced environment.
* Detailed knowledge relating to People and HR issues.
* IT savvy with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
