Role Overview
We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Staff Nurse to join our team in a small private care facility in Dublin 16. Reporting to the Care Unit Manager, you will work a structured 4-cycle roster and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and guiding the wider care team.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care tailored to each resident's needs
Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and person-centred care
Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants in delivering effective care
Collaborate with GPs, multidisciplinary teams, and senior nursing staff
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans and clinical documentation in line with HIQA standards
Monitor, report, and elevate clinical concerns appropriatelyAdminister medications safely and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support service development
Assist residents with daily activities, social engagement, and mealtimes where required
Ensure equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly
Requirements
Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
Previous experience in care of the elderly desirable but not essential
Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
