Job Description

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, business continuity and compliance across three laboratories: Analytical, Microbiology and Incoming Quality Assurance Laboratories.

Your primary function will include completing necessary validation documentation and assisting in the execution of validation activities. This will involve installing, qualifying and validating laboratory equipment, software and test methods within the Quality Assurance Department.

You will also review all SOPs for any job task you may carry out and ensure that you fully understand and adhere to the SOP.

Participate in plant projects as requested and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Food Science or an equivalent scientific discipline and possess excellent critical thinking/analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

* Complete laboratory projects according to the agreed Laboratory Validation Review Board Plan
* Review and implement new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and quality
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities and results

Requirements

* Degree or diploma in Food Science or an equivalent scientific discipline
* Excellent critical thinking/analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
* Strong organizational and time management skills
