Finance Analyst - Payroll and Workforce ReportingFull Time Permanent positionCitywest Office About the RoleWe're looking for a Finance Analyst with strong payroll and rostering experience to support weekly labour reporting across our retail network of 134+ stores. This role sits at the centre of finance and operations, ensuring payroll accuracy, optimising labour efficiency, and providing actionable insights to store leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce weekly payroll and labour cost reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.Analyse workforce trends including hours, overtime, holiday usage, and store-level variances.Work closely with Payroll, HR, and Store Operations to investigate discrepancies and improve labour-related processes.Maintain, enhance, and automate reporting tools and dashboards (primarily in Excel).Support rostering reviews, labour planning, and budgeting cycles.Assist with system audits and data integrity checks across Workday, TimeX, and internal rostering tools.Provide clear commentary, insights, and recommendations to management.Skills & Experience RequiredExperience in payroll analytics, payroll administration, or workforce management (retail experience an advantage).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data cleaning, ideally some Power Query).Strong attention to detail and comfort working with high-volume data.Understanding of payroll processes and rostering.Ability to communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders.Experience with Workday and/or Timex is an advantage.Who We're Looking ForA proactive, numbers-driven professional who enjoys improving processes and supporting decision-making.
