Cloud Security Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the secure and compliant adoption of Public Cloud.

This position places you at the forefront of identifying and managing risk-related issues within our technology, while driving automation of controls.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the execution and enhancement of an information risk and control strategy designed to keep public cloud information assets secure.
* Deliver risk-based assessments of secure technology controls relating to cloud services, cloud platforms, and architectural components.
* Collaborate with business teams to understand firm control requirements and implementations across various cloud architectures.
* Perform security reviews of infrastructure-as-code for cloud platform development.
* Contribute to documentation and agile processes in support of security programs.

* A solid understanding of how to secure public cloud technology.
* Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in both virtual and office environments.
* Self-disciplined, self-managed, and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to participate in discussions and meetings with internal management, peer groups, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
