Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Cork
Remuneration: € €20.68 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary (Full-Time) with potential to Permanent
Shift work
Responsibilities:
Engage actively in training plans to achieve target outcomes.
Ensure all operations are performed according to established procedures.
Comply with all Safety and Environmental standards.
Maintain a clean and organized production area.
Develop knowledge of relevant plant equipment and services.
Participate in cross-training and be flexible to work in other departments when needed.
Complete all necessary documentation neatly and on time.
Adopt a proactive approach to meeting site and departmental targets.
Safely and efficiently operate forklift trucks.
Continuously strive for improvement in daily tasks.
What do you need to be successful?
Previous experience in a manufacturing production environment is essential.
Forklift truck (counterbalance) experience and certification are required.
A leaving certificate or equivalent is necessary; a third-level certificate in engineering/production (e.g., QQI/FETAC level 5) is desirable.
Strong team working and communication skills are a must
Good organisational abilities and an energetic attitude are key.
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP is required.
