The Role
The primary focus of this role is to lead the Origina Security Services Sales function, ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of support to Origina's Sales team. This position involves addressing customer security concerns in both their current and future environments by understanding their unique context and operating conditions. You will be responsible for evolving supporting materials and messaging, assisting the sales team in their delivery, and providing assurance that Origina has their security needs covered.
What you will do
- Lead the development and execution of Origina's Security Services sales support strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise customer needs and expectations.
- Serve as the face of Origina Security in pre-sales engagements - joining customer calls, presenting at meetings, and representing the function at industry events and trade shows.
- Translate complex security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives and procurement.
- Engage directly with customer security teams, building relationships, identifying key stakeholders, and uncovering further opportunities within accounts.
- Champion Origina's security methodology, effectively communicating our approach to risk management, compliance, and secure architecture.
- Capture and promote customer success stories that validate Origina's security approach and support credibility in future sales conversations.
- Advise internal teams on emerging trends in frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC2, HIPAA, SOX).
- Act as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, balancing technical depth with business acumen to drive value and trust.
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships, especially with Sales, SecOps, and Regulatory Services leadership.
About you
- A minimum of 5+ years in the development &/or delivery of operational security/service or consulting ideally with 5+ years recent experience in enterprise sales within the cyber security domain
- A background in security architecture, engineering, or consulting for large enterprises or global clients is required
- Tech savvy with security and systems experience in the operation, design and/or delivery of security services &/or solutions
- Expertise in secure design, environment hardening, vulnerability/risk management, and compensating control development.
- Understanding of secure architecture design best practices and environment hardening
- Good working knowledge of vulnerability management, risk management and the design and implementation of compensating controls
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling processes in high-growth environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and supporting material development skills, teamwork, and customer interaction skills
- Resilient and flexible mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a high-growth environment essential, understanding and addressing issues as they arise
- Ability and experience in building and management of relationships internally and externally with trust and integrity
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
