Reporting to the Head of Procurement, theSenior Procurement & Contracts Managerwill take ownership of major tender projects - including those supporting an ongoing transformation programme - while ensuring full compliance with Irish and EU procurement regulations. You will play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, leading supplier management, and supporting colleagues across multiple business areas.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end procurement process from planning through tendering to contract execution.Ensure compliance with EU and Irish public procurement legislation and internal policies.Drive continuous improvement, value for money, and cost reduction across procurement activities.Manage the organisation's central contracts database.Produce regular reports on procurement performance, compliance, and savings.Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with key strategic partners to enhance collaboration and performance.Support and mentor other procurement team members while collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.Experience:Minimum Level 8 Degree in Procurement, Business, or a related field.10+ years' experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in public sector procurement management.Proven track record managing complex tenders, frameworks, and service/supply contracts.Strong commercial acumen and experience drafting and negotiating contracts.Familiarity with procurement and contract management systems.Skills:In-depth knowledge of Irish and EU Public Procurement legislation.Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.Ability to prioritise and manage multiple complex projects under pressure.Team-oriented, proactive, and delivery-focused.
