Mechanical Construction Manager - Mechanical Contractor - AthloneOffice/Project Location: AthloneEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: cExperience: 5+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a an established specialist in cleanroom construction, HVAC services, heat recovery and carbon emission reduction projects, as well as general mechanical and electrical services.They service clients in all industry sectors, Bio Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Electronics, Food & Dairy and Data Centre/Light Industrial sectors.Supervise and manage the daily mechanical construction activities on the project.Plan, develop, and organise the mechanical construction process to create the most cost-effective plan, ensuring timely completion within budget, and oversee its execution.Responsible for executing the scope of work related to construction/fabrication and pre-commissioning in line with the approved project schedule.Monitor and report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager promptly.Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings are properly documented.Adhere to Safety, EHS, and Quality Standards in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.Manage site design and mechanical construction processes.Manage closeout of mechanical snags in a timely manner for effective project handoverPlan and allocate all resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.Lead and motivate the team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholderRequirementsPossess a background in a relevant trade or engineering discipline.Have over 5 years of industry experience.Previous work with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK, ideally on Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects, is preferred.Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC and building services design.Experience of piping systems installation is highly desirable.Show proven ability to manage both people and programs.Exhibit clear communication skills with all stakeholders.Package€95k - €105k per yearProfessional development opportunities.
