We are currently recruiting a Head Chef to work under the Executive Head Chef in the kitchen brigade at Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort. As Head Chef, you will lead the team, devising innovative menus with the Executive Chef, and oversee cost control and health & safety matters within the kitchen.
This is a unique opportunity to join our newly refurbished resort and work with excellent senior management.
The Candidate:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a 4/5 star hotel (may suit an ambitious Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef ready for the next step).
* Proven ability to deliver seamless service in banqueting, casual, or fine dining environments.
* Natural leader with experience managing and developing teams.
* Motivated, dynamic, and creative individual.
* Full knowledge of HACCP regulations.
* Fluent in English (written and oral).
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform duties assigned by the Executive Chef, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
* Support the Executive Chef in managing the department and contributing to the resort's success.
* Follow HACCP procedures and complete documentation.
* Train, monitor, and guide the kitchen team.
* Monitor standards, control costs, manage stock, and ensure efficiency.
* Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and midweek shifts.
* Handle guest complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
