Senior Financial Services Audit Director Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious professional to lead our financial services audit team in Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working at a Senior Manager/Director level within a financial services department in a professional services firm.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Leading a portfolio of financial services audit clients, including public interest entities.
2. Implementing actions to ensure the firm's strategic objectives are met, with a focus on enhancing internal operational processes.
3. Developing existing and new client relationships and playing a pivotal role in business development activities.
4. Planning audit assignments, transitioning from previous auditors and onboarding new clients, and designing and implementing audit strategy.
5. Coordinating/project managing audit assignments for clients in the portfolio.
6. Ensuring compliance with client audit methodology and considering audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
Principal Requirements:
1. Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of establishing and developing client relationships.
2. Proven track record of managing and delivering client projects and experience working on large group assignments and public interest entity audits.
3. Detailed knowledge of relevant accounting standards impacting the financial services sector and ability to prioritise and organise work with strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially report writing skills, and professional and proactive approach to work.
5. Experience managing and coaching managers and other senior team members and works well with others in the team, maintaining high standards of quality and demonstrating commitment to self-development.
