You will join a state-of-the-art facility, incorporating new technologies, with a specific focus on operational flexibility, environmental sustainability, and fast track delivery concepts. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the design, installation, configuration and testing of data historian (OSI PI), Alarm Management System (Logmate) and Alarm Notification System (Win-911).Ensure seamless integration of the new systems with existing site infrastructure.Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including System Integration Engineers and Developers, to deliver robust data solutions.Manage and maintain the data systems, including servers, operating systems, security tools and applications.Support system commissioning and qualification activities.Provide regular status updates to Project Management to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate system changes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.Minimum 10 years’ experience in OSI PI Data Historian.Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet IP.Knowledge in remote I/O, & Instrumentation.Experience with configuring and supporting alarm management and notification systems, including Logmate and Win-911.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S-88 Batch Standard, and 21 CFR Part 11.Experience with scheduling and resource work planning is desirable.Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.What SimoTech Can OfferRole provides a high degree of autonomy to allow the successful candidate to reach their full potential.Develop new skills and enhance technical ability by working with innovative technologies in a multi-disciplined environment.Opportunity to work with large corporate clients on exciting capital projects.By submitting my data (CV), I consent to SimoTech collecting and storing my personal data, as outlined in the SimoTech Privacy Statement which I have read.
