Job Opportunity
Transport Infrastructure Ireland seeks a talented professional to support the MetroLink Directorate team in managing design and construction quality for main contractors. Key responsibilities include:
* Introducing new technology and methods to enhance project efficiency
* Delivering technical aspects of design and construction phases to achieve Permit to Operate (PTO)
* Supporting the delivery manager in designing, procuring, installing, and handing over sites, as well as testing equipment
* Preparing technical reports on project scope
* Developing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality from design to manufacture and test phases
* Monitoring and reporting on performance and quality of design work by contractors and progress against agreed program of works
* Reviewing Contractor/Consultant submissions
* Supporting design process, including exchange of interface details, technical clarifications, and technical information requests (RFI), as well as handling design changes (RFC) and variations between contractor and Civil Works Contractor
* Managing contractors' Civil Works, Systems, and Delivery teams
* Participating in regular design process meetings and workshops with integrated Metrolink team
