Position Summary Hotel Kilmore, as part of our expanding Irish hotel group, is seeking a reliable, professional and guest-focused Night Porter to support overnight hotel operations. The Night Porter works closely with the Night Manager to ensure guest safety, security, cleanliness and service excellence throughout the night. This role plays a key part in maintaining standards, supporting late-night guest needs, and ensuring the property is fully prepared for the following days operations. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service - Provide professional and courteous service to all guests during night hours. - Assist with late arrivals, early departures and guest requests. - Handle basic guest queries and escalate issues to the Night Manager where required. Operational Support - Assist with set-up and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as required. - Complete cleaning and preparation tasks for public areas. - Ensure reception, lobby and entrance areas are presentable at all times. - Support basic front office duties where required. Security & Safety - Conduct regular security walks throughout the property. - Monitor access points and ensure the safety of guests and team members. - Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow hotel procedures. - Maintain accurate incident and security logs. Team Collaboration - Work closely with the Night Manager to ensure smooth overnight operations. - Assist colleagues across departments when required. - Participate in training and development initiatives. Candidate Profile - Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Reliable, punctual and trustworthy. - Ability to work independently during overnight shifts. - Good attention to detail and organisational skills. - Flexible to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. - A strong alignment with the companys values and service culture.
