Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)Hours: Full-timeContract: Fixed-term with strong potential for permanency
Professional Social Care in a Rights‑Based Service. This role is suited to qualified Social Care Workers who want to work in a structured environment where person‑centred practice, accountability, and meaningful support are central to the service. You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities with a focus on:
Independence and autonomy
Inclusion and community participation
Personal growth and wellbeing
Consistent, relationship‑based support
This is professional social care work aligned with HIQA standards, safeguarding practice, and clear governance structures.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement person‑centred support plans
Promote rights, dignity, choice and independent living
Support individuals in community participation and daily development
Build professional, consistent relationships that support confidence and wellbeing
Work within HIQA‑regulated standards and safeguarding frameworks
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and wider support services
What You’ll Need
Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or 8)
CORU registration or eligibility to register
Experience in disability services or similar social care settings
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional practice
Manual Handling & First Aid (in date or willingness to update)
