Position
The Associate Director of Flood Civil Engineering will play a pivotal role in leading the team to develop, implement, and oversee flood control and water management projects. You will bring your expertise to drive the success of our projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as the lead member (project manager) of a project team to deliver quality services to Clients.
* Manage a challenging and diverse workload.
* Meet deadlines within a Quality Management System.
* Manage projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
* Provide professional advice, guidance and support across the business.
* Develop business opportunities through tender submissions and identification of new market opportunities.
* Represent Ayesa in a professional manner.
* Familiarize yourself with and comply with the requirements of Ayesa's Integrated Management System (IMS).
Requirements
* Honours degree qualified in Civil Engineering field (QII Level 8 minimum, Level 9 preferred).
* 10 years post-graduate experience with at least 8 in the flood risk management/drainage discipline (candidates that demonstrate exceptional ability with less experience may be considered).
* Proven experience in the delivery of flood relief or other water-related services, including client management and contract administration.
* Knowledge of local legislation codes of practice, design standards and planning processes is a distinct advantage.
