The Quality Manager oversees internal process audits and analyses, and drives quality performance data through communication, standard-setting, and problem-solving. The quality manager focuses on all aspects that may affect product quality, including materials, design, processes, instructions, training, and equipment. The quality manager achieves results through the Quality Process Engineers and Technicians.Goals of the Quality Manager Manage and Develop the Quality Process Engineers and Technicians Develop & implement strategies to improve production processes working closely with Design, Production and Industrial Engineering teams. Maximise customer experience and company profitability through Right First Time Design and monitor new and existing quality gates for early detection of failures. Educate staff and provide high-quality instructions for manufacturing processes. Eliminate quality failures through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Requirements for the Role: Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management or Engineering. Education in Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage. Relevant Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a senior quality role in a manufacturing environment. Preferably 2-3 years in a people management role. In-depth working knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving tools. Proven record of delivering results through collaborative process improvements.Demonstrates full flexibility to undertake occasional travel to customer locationsKey Skills and Competencies: Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Accounting for and driving down the cost of poor quality.
