It comprises of a luxury world class Hotel and European Award Winning Spa.
The Heritage also offers guests a number of on site activities such as our Health Club with Leisure Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms, 5km Walking Track and Cinema.
We are currently looking to hire a n Assistant Conference Banqueting Manager to join our existing team.
Job Role: To be accountable for all stock and services in the conference and banqueting outlets ensuring that the guests comfort, satisfaction and well being is catered for in a friendly, helpful, efficient and personalised manner at all times.
That all guests receive the highest quality standards.
Maximisation of sales opportunities.
Control of costs at all times.
The highest levels of hygiene at all times.
Main duties: Responsible for the managing, training and development of the conference and banqueting team, ensuring objectives are set and regularly monitored.
To ensure that all colleagues are fully trained and have signed off on the Intoxicating Liquor Act ********* and any revisions or additional legislation made thereafter.
To ensure all colleagues are trained fully on Responsible Alcohol Serving.
To ensure correct room set-ups e.g. ballroom, meeting rooms, Exhibition Centre, bedrooms and any other outlet if requested.
To ensure an environment exists which promotes colleague morale encourages the team to have pride commitment in their area of work.
To oversee the ordering, cost control and standards of all beverage supplies ensuring the correct purchase order procedures are adhered to.
To maintain close communication with all members of the management team to ensure the smooth efficient running of all C B areas.
To carry out weekly/monthly stock takes.
To compile produce daily, weekly monthly beverage reports and forecasts as requested.
To maintain the standard operating procedures for the various beverage outlets within the hotel ensuring standards are consistently being met.
To be fully familiar with the Failte Ireland and Preferred Standards, ensuring all colleagues are fully trained on these required standards.
To oversee the day-to-day operation of the bars ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised.
To work closely with Senior Management in achieving required targets in relation to payroll and Gross Profit percentages.
Attend Management meetings as requested.
To carry out job chats and performance appraisals.
