Louth.Job DescriptionThe hands-on implementation of the day-to-day Project Road maintenance requirements.To provide call-out cover to out-of-office hours emergency responses.To carry out routine maintenance activities including:Traffic ManagementWinter MaintenancePavement repairsEmergency ResponseBridge MaintenanceAccident Damage Repair (e.g. safety barrier & boundary fence repairs)Road Furniture cleaningLandscaping / Grass cutting / Weed controlLitter collectionGeneral maintenance dutiesTo undertake all allocated maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.QualificationsEssential:2nd level educationClass C Driver's licenceValid Safe Pass holderDriver CPCRelevant experience with a background in Motorway / Road Construction / Maintenance.Evidence of practical experience in one or more of the routine maintenance activities listed aboveAn understanding of and commitment to health and safety practices and principlesAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamGood standard of written and spoken EnglishSelf-motivated and enthusiasticGood interpersonal skillsAdaptable and flexible with a willingness to learn new job specific skillsDesirableUp-to-date training/qualifications in:Traffic ManagementSafety barrier installers courseH&S Related training - First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling.
