The Job:
We are currently working with one of Ireland's leading FMCG companies to hire a Coffee Sales Specialist to join their team. This field-based role focuses on servicing and growing the Business & Industry client base across the Leinster region. Reporting directly to the Channel Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales & Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing B&I customers, consistently achieving quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
* New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and strategic outreach.
* Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
* Client Growth: Drive expansion within existing accounts through product range development, promotional initiatives, training, and ongoing support.
* Proposal & Reporting: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and P&L reports for new business opportunities.
* Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships through structured call cycles and effective communication.
* Territory Reporting: Provide monthly updates on sales performance, new business wins, promotional activities, and service issues.
* Customer Support: Lead resolution of service and support queries to ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Order Fulfilment: Ensure timely and complete order processing and delivery.
* Training & Development: Attend barista and equipment troubleshooting training sessions; deliver barista training across the Coffee Portfolio.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
* Strong understanding of the coffee industry across various channels.
* Strategic approach to both new business acquisition and account growth.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
* Commercial awareness and a customer‑first mindset.
* Willingness to upskill in barista techniques, equipment troubleshooting, and training delivery.
* Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for business development.
