About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to take on a key leadership role in our organization. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and systems within our industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance technicians, developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure uninterrupted operations. This includes planning and scheduling preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to optimize asset reliability and performance.
Team Leadership & Supervision
You will manage, train, and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure high levels of technical performance. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks and responsibilities based on individual skills and experience, providing regular performance feedback, and conducting evaluations of staff performance.
Inventory & Spare Parts Management
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and tools to minimize downtime and ensure availability. Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and services.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Track and report maintenance-related costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
Continuous Improvement
Lead efforts to identify opportunities for improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes. Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis to address issues and improve equipment performance.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Certification in maintenance management or related fields is a plus. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, with occasional overtime as required. You will work in a noisy, physically demanding industrial environment with regular exposure to machinery, tools, and equipment.
