OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: To provide support to the Human Resources Department in order to achieve maximum efficiency and associate satisfaction.REPORTS TO: Area Director HR Ireland, UK, France and UAEJOB FUNCTIONS WITH PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruitment and Selection: Responsible for liaising with Managers and Directors to gather information relating to recruitment needs for positions and posting of all positions accordingly.Conduct interviews, references with previous employers, send job offer to agency/candidate, draw up offer letters, standard contracts and ensure relevant documentation for all new starters are signed accordingly.Reporting and Systems: Extract and analysis data from the HR system e.g. attendance reports, training data etc. and provide key HR Metrics as required.Maintain Workday and HR Systems promptly and accurately to ensure precise data reporting including management for all leaves of absences.Employee orientation, development, and training: Review and manage new starter and leaver processes by ensuring all documentation is completed, conduct 6 weeks job chat, risk assessments and leaver process e.g. exit interviews etc.Carry out Company Induction Programme within specified timeline.Carry out ad-hoc training required to managers and non-management.In conjunction with the continuous performance process, engage with relevant managers to ensure goal setting and review process completion and collate and manage learning & development matrix.Payroll, Benefits, General Administration: Accurately record and submit all payroll changes for the Cork officeConduct monthly check of Time and Attendance and assist with approving payroll. In the absence of the ADHR approve payroll.Arrange for Associates to register for benefits e.g. Healthcare, discount card, pension, life assurance etc and issue the quarterly Benefits Newsletter for the Cork Office.Maintain and update filing systems on a regular basis and ensure all documentation is kept confidential as required.Responsible for administrative duties within the HR department e.g. proof of employment letters etc.Review and update LSOP's based on Irish legislation and execute these policies accordingly.Suggest and implement new policies and procedures to continuously improve efficiencies across the Cork office and to improve employee experience and engagement.Assist with compensation queries by conducting market research.Actively Promote employee wellbeing programmes and initiatives including recognition awards.Employee Relations: Liaise and support all associates and managers through counselling and advising. Assist with promoting and driving the company values and culture.In conjunction with the ADHR advise and assist managers in all Disciplinary and Grievance Situations. Provide guidance to management on employee related issues.Provide guidance and support to associates on HR queries in line with Company policy, legislation, and best practice.Europe Middle East Asia Pacific (EMEAP) Human Resources: Administer APEME projects for the VP HR APEME. Liaise with APEME HR departments to coordinate exercises such as LEAD training, APEME headcount reports, ITEX reports etc.Communication: Communicate and update all associates both written, verbally and via noticeboards of relevant company information.Conduct leader meetings and attend departmental monthly meetings to cascade HR related topics.Other Duties: Provide coverage when necessary for the MVW Receptionist. Support the ADHR with all company Health and Safety aspects, ensuring adherence at all times.Candidate Requirements:3rd level qualification in HR and / or CIPD qualification required.Minimum of three years relevant HR generalist experience.Strong HR Systems knowledge specifically Workday and working knowledge of Time & Attendance systems is a key advantage.Ability to effectively manage completing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability in building collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders and ability to influence and strong decision making.Demonstrate resilience and flexibility to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and demands.Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and awareness of HR best practicesOther:Fluent English essential.Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.Comply with MVW polices and procedures.Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates.
