Engineering Project Manager
A leading and growing food manufacturing company is seeking a seasoned engineering professional to oversee engineering projects within a dynamic plant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating new equipment installations, managing upgrades and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

You will lead engineering projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with various departments to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Apply your knowledge in mechanical/electrical engineering to troubleshoot, plan, and manage the installation of new equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams as needed.
* Coordinate the installation, commissioning, and operation activities for new and existing equipment.
* Develop and improve engineering practices across the site.
* Prepare and execute project plans for new installations, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
* Collaborate closely with various departments to scope projects, define objectives, and set timelines.
* Lead fault-finding initiatives and drive solutions across technical challenges.
Person Specification:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food manufacturing.
Proven track record of managing and delivering projects in fast-paced manufacturing settings.
Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation and quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HND/HNC candidates with relevant experience will be considered).
Proficient in mechanical engineering design and Auto CAD.
Experience in managing installations and projects within a fully operational factory environment.
Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to drive practical solutions.

Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and adhering to constraints.
