The Finance Manager is responsible for reviewing accurate and timely management reporting for the Teneo Ireland entity.
They will be responsible for the Teneo Ireland Finance team and have day to day management of the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions across the entity.
The Finance Manager will be supporting the senior finance team and working alongside the other finance functions of Teneo.
The Finance Manager will reporting into the Financial Controller, Europe.
Responsibilities Main Finance business interface providing financial information to Senior Finance Team, Senior Management Team and Global Counterparties in line with monthly internal and global reporting timelinesManage month end timetable and complianceMonthly Revenue recognition ensuring revenue is accrued at the point of delivery and revenue forecasts are current in line with business expectations for the Irish officeSupport and oversee intercompany reconciliations ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately between all Teneo entitiesManage, review and provide Debtor & Unbilled AR Analysis to Managing Directors and Controllers on a monthly basisOversee month end reporting and ensuring accuracy of the P&Ls, identifying potential risks and issues are communicated to the Global CFO and Senior ManagementReview and signoff monthly balance sheet control accounts in line with the month-end proceduresReport final local financials in line with month-end timelinesSupport the Controllers and Global CFO in preparation of forecasts, annual budgets and cash-flowsReviewing of monthly accounts across all Financial Advisory subsidiariesReview and submit quarterly VAT return in conjunction with rest of the UK for the UK wide returnResolve queries arising from the senior team and wider Teneo finance teamsIdentify areas of 'best practice' throughout the wider Teneo business and ensure these are adopted or sharedSupporting audit processes for Global FA and managing timelinesEnsure compliance with local regulatory and statutory rules within the prescribed timetablesMain bank interface ensuring accounts are consistently managed, review and approval of payments and expense runsTeam Management Manage and support all finance functions, (accounts receivable, payable and management accounts) alongside Controllers, providing direction, mentorship, training and performance development to support their career aspirations in line with the company review processEnsure the team continually improves their knowledge and understanding of financial controlReview and monitor daily and monthly tasks providing further training for areas of development; ensuring task lists are up to date and adhered toEnsure accurate maintenance of all accounting systems and ledgersSkills and Experience Ensures all reports, data and written work are accurate and timelyGreat attention to detail and an understanding that quality and accuracy of work unpins good financial reportingProactively develops initiatives to improve internal financial systems with the objective of delivering an effective and efficient service to the businessKeeps up to date with contemporary trends and technologyMakes good decisions in a timely manner that reflect a full understanding of risks, costs and benefitsClearly and comfortably delegates both routine and important tasks/decisionsCan skilfully and confidently negotiate both internally and externallyStrong initiative and adopts a proactive approachAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlinesIdentifies issues and resolves promptlyManages and prioritises workload of themselves and their team effectivelyExperience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentProficient at Excel and other Microsoft office programsGood analytic skills with experience of reporting to senior team membersClear understanding of the finance function with experience working as a Management AccountantExperience of NetSuite accounting software – preferred but not essentialDevelops and maintains strong relationships with colleagues, clients and external suppliersCommunicates effectively with colleagues, clients and suppliersTeam leadership and managementProactive mindsetCalm and resilientWhat we can offer New joiners are supported by an induction programme, and continuous development is a key focus of life at Teneo - learning and knowledge sharing are at the heart of this.
