O' Connor Woodwork Solutions is a family run, fourth generation carpentry and joinery company. We specialize in the design and manufacture of joinery for commercial fit outs.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join our carpentry and joinery team in Co. Cork.
The successful candidate will join a team of qualified fitters and will work on a range of commercial projects in the Cork area. Current projects include schools, primary care centres, IPS panelling and cubicles, and office fit-outs. The role will involve fitting of specialized joinery and fitted furniture on our sites. This is a site-based role.
Responsibilities
* Fit all units and joinery items supplied by our workshop to the highest standard.
* Supervise assistant fitters or sub-contracted fitters to ensure high standards are maintained.
* Ensure projects progress as scheduled, communicating effectively with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
* Ensure any snags or defects are reported back to the workshop through our online system Fieldwire.
* Work safely and follow site health & safety regulations at all times.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the fitted furniture/joinery sector.
* Experience of working from shop drawings.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
* Own transport essential
Note: Non EEA candidates must hold a valid work permit for the Republic of Ireland.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €48,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
