Rate: €550 per/day depending on experience
Overview: Our client is seeking an accomplished SAP Programme Manager on a contract basis, to lead complex, large-scale SAP initiatives across global teams and stakeholders. In this pivotal role, you'll drive strategy execution, oversee implementation, and ensure delivery excellence across the program lifecycle. Your leadership will be critical in aligning project outcomes with business goals, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP-enabled transformation programmes, ensuring scope, quality, timeline, and budget are all managed to successful completion.
2. Define and execute program strategy, roadmap, governance structures, risk and issue management, and performance tracking across multiple interdependent projects.
3. Act as the primary liaison between C‑level stakeholders, steering committees, project teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
4. Manage resources, budgets, and commercial metrics, including forecasting, cost controls, and benefits realization.
5. Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, supporting capability building while maintaining best-in-class governance and delivery standards.
What We Are Looking For
6. Proven experience leading large‑scale SAP programs (especially S/4HANA or ERP transformations), spanning global or multi-industry contexts.
7. Strong stakeholder and executive engagement skills, adept at managing expectations at C‑level and steering committee forums.
8. Expertise in program methodologies, including SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks. Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or PPM are a plus.
9. Excellent financial acumen-able to manage budgets, forecast, and oversee commercial propositions, steering profitable program delivery.
10. Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management abilities, with a track record of inspiring high-performing teams and managing stakeholder relationships across geographies.
