Key Responsibilities
* Installation and commissioning of VRV/VRF systems, split units, close control systems, and chillers
* Interpretation and execution of system layouts and technical drawings
* Troubleshooting and resolution of installation and commissioning issues
* Coordination with project managers, site supervisors, and other on-site trades
* Supervision and mentoring of junior team members, including apprentices and general operatives
* Compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Completion of project documentation and handover reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Fully qualified refrigeration engineer with relevant trade certification
* Minimum 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in the installation of air conditioning/HVAC systems
* Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the installation and commissioning of: VRV/VRF systems Split air conditioning units Close control units Chillers F-Gas certification (in-date and valid)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Full driving licence
* Entitlement to work in Ireland and/or the EU
Desirable Attributes
* Experience leading small project teams
* Additional certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling, MEWP)
* Previous experience with Daikin, Panasonic, or Tecnair systems is advantageous
