About This Position
A payroll specialist will be responsible for processing payrolls for various schedules, handling timesheet and clock card submissions, including adjustments for overtime and bonuses. The role also includes managing payroll administration for temporary employees, processing payroll deductions, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Process payrolls for different schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Handle employee records, including timesheet and clock card submissions, adjustments for overtime and bonuses.
3. Manage payroll administration for temporary staff.
4. Process payroll deductions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
5. Respond to employee queries in a professional manner.
6. Perform benefit-in-kind calculations and processing.
7. Calculate and report on annual leave entitlements.
8. Submit payroll files through secure online platforms.
Requirements
* A payroll qualification or relevant accounting certification.
* At least 2 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* A team player who can prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload.
