We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a hands on role, central to the day-to-day running of the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of the accounts, payroll and provide general support to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the creditors ledger: processing invoices, reconciling statements, preparing and processing supplier payments.
* Oversee the debtors ledger: raising invoices, reconciling customer accounts, and allocation of receipts.
* Administer weekly payroll including related PAYE compliance on ROS.
* Subcontractor Payment Notifications on ROS and recording of RCT deductions
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Complete bank reconciliations and assist with year end accounts.
* Liaise with staff members to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records
* Provide general office administration support as required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance role.
* Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software).
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to work independently with initiative and manage deadlines.

Pay: From €20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
