Project Support Role
This advanced technical role is designed to support a new automated packaging project. The successful candidate will utilize their engineering expertise and system knowledge to drive the project forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver key project tasks efficiently and effectively
* Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and other functions to achieve project goals
* Develop strong relationships with cross-functional team members and vendors, promoting effective teamwork in pursuit of project milestones
* Support the project team as required to deliver a world-class automation project
* Review and endorse vendor documentation, including FDS, SDS, electrical/pneumatic drawings, training materials, commission reports, etc.
* Prepare, review, and approve project validation documents, such as URS, PFMEA's, FAT, SAT, VP, IQ, OQ, PQ, reports, procedures, and other relevant documents compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
* Provide technical guidance on machine hardware/software design/functionality to vendors and project teams
* Attend and execute pre-FAT and FAT execution at the vendor's site
* Execute validation qualification test protocols documents
* Support troubleshooting the automated system using structured problem-solving techniques and provide feedback to the project team and vendor
* Support the installation of the automation system at the site, preparing it for qualification
* Maintain observance of Quality Management Systems requirements on-site at all times
* Adhere to and enforce Environment Health and Safety (EHS) requirements on-site.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Software knowledge beneficial
* Self-motivated individual with efficient work methods, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented project team environment
* Innovative thinker with the capacity to envision novel solutions
* Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team in an aggressive, dynamic, and results-driven environment

* Experience in FDA-regulated industries advantageous
* Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
