Your New Role
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across a range of projects from concept through to completion.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team, you will support senior engineers while taking ownership of key project deliverables and client coordination activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing electrical building services systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and small power systems
Preparing technical calculations, specifications, reports and design drawings
Supporting projects from concept design through to construction and handover stages
Coordinating with mechanical engineers, architects and wider design teams
Attending client, design and project meetings
Ensuring designs comply with relevant Irish and international regulations and standards
Supporting site inspections, commissioning and technical reviews
Using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit and electrical design packages
What You'll Need
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
3–6 years’ experience within a building services consultancy environment
Strong understanding of electrical building services design principles
Experience working across multiple project stages
Knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Good communication and coordination skills
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
Working towards Chartered Engineer status desirable
