Waystone provides its clients with the guidance and tools to allow them to focus on managing their investment goals with confidence.Summary: Reporting to the Head of Fund Accounting, the Vice President will be an integral part of the team’s success.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe roles consist of managing a small number of client relationships, ensuring superior client service and the delivery of accurate information in a timely fashion. The Vice President will have responsibility for their clients’ portfolios from start to finish. This will include (but is not limited to) the following:Manage the Fund Accounting teams including training and professional developmentRecruit additional resources as required to ensure high standard of client serviceManage the day-to-day operations, in coordination with supporting managers of the Fund Accounting unit, including daily, weekly, monthly and annual client deliverablesManage client-specific requests and define projects to develop processes to improve the product offeringBuild a relationship with the stakeholders of the fundsProvide technical expertise related to fund structures, investment strategies, management and waterfall calculations, and profit/loss allocationsReview of valuation packages in line with clients’ requirementsPreparation and review of financial statements, supporting information and tax schedules in relation to the year-end auditBusiness development as operational and technical expertParticipate in special projects within the group including quality control and process improvementsRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
