Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Chief Risk Officer.
This position is regulated under PCF-14 and falls within the Central Bank of Ireland's regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive risk management processes that align with organizational objectives.
* Lead the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and reporting on financial, operational, and strategic risks.
* Oversee Solvency and Financial Condition Report, Regular Supervisory Report, and Pillar III capital-related reporting.
* Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization through training and development initiatives.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate risk management with overall corporate strategy.
* Present risk reports and progress updates to senior management and the board of directors.
Required Qualifications:
* Current or previous holding of PCF-14.
* Extensive experience in risk management within the Insurance sector.
* Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive risk policies and procedures.
* Strong analytical skills with the capacity to anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Proven stakeholder management to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders while collaborating to resolve complex issues.
