General Ledger Accountant My client are seeking an experienced GL Accountant to manage general ledger accounting and reporting for international entities. This role involves hands-on financial operations and compliance in a dynamic, multinational environment. Ideal candidate will have a fluency in English and Italian OR French. Working as part of team the General Ledger Accountant reports into the Accounting Manager Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and P&L analysis. Review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. Handle payroll accounting and tax filings (VAT, CIT, etc.). Ensure accurate month-end and quarter-end reporting. Support annual financial statement preparation and KPI reporting. Identify and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements. Assist in maintaining and enhancing accounting procedures. Liaise with cross-functional teams and international finance departments. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Resolve day-to-day accounting issues and support ad-hoc projects.
