About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to deliver client-side services in Ireland.
* The successful candidate will have a responsible role on a team accountable for the delivery of major projects with a focus on scope, budget, schedule, and risk as part of a capital investment programme.
* The Project Manager will assist in delivering the project on time, to budget, and to specification, ensuring the project achieves all goals and objectives in accordance with employer's requirements and corporate strategic intent for the portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable to the Programme Manager for the delivery of the project/contract with focus on design, procurement, construction delivery, budget management, scheduling, and technical quality output.
* Ensure that projects meet their delivery dates.
* Progression of project through approvals and gate processes, including production of necessary documents for review.
* Carry out regular reviews of project progress, budgets, changes, risks, and issues, and ensure that reports and scorecards are produced and circulated.
* Manage relevant stakeholders (internal & external as required) and ensure that the appropriate level of stakeholder consultation is carried out.
* Development of cost estimates.
* Detailed review of Contractor's design and deliverables.
* Contribute to the capture of project performance data through regular monthly update cycles for performance monitoring and reporting purposes, and working with Commercial team on appropriate management, escalation, and resolution of commercial and contracting issues.
* A adopt an adaptable and flexible approach to change, innovation, and continuous improvement in the team and ensuring all team members understand the role they play in delivering change.
* Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments.
